BATIK NATIONAL DAY

By stephanie sjan - October 02, 2017

Today, 2nd October we Indonesian people celebrate Batik National Days. Batik is one of the famous heritage from Indonesia. It's a technique of wax-resist dyeing applied to whole cloth, or cloth made using this technique. Batik is made either by drawing dots and lines of the resist with a spouted tool called a canting or by printing the resist with a copper stamp called a cap. These days we can found batik in many items not only for clothing but we can found as a bag, shoes, fashion accessories, even for home decor.
Because today is Batik National Day so for my outfit I wore limited edition batik bomber jacket from local brand in Indonesia called Authentic by NoonaKu (I will give the link down below). Just scroll down for more picture.
